Applications</A>

Filters are used in a broad range of applications both in audio engineering and
in electronic music. The former include, for instance, equalizers, speaker
crossovers, sample rate converters, and DC removal (which we have already used
in earlier chapters). Here, though, we'll be concerned with the specifically
musical applications.
